Postgreen Homes comes to South Philly in a partnership with LPMG Companies to develop 18 residential units and one commercial space. The project features 2 and 3 bedroom homes with 1 car parking and roof decks with amazing city views at 16th & Moore in the heart of the Newbold neighborhood.

Key Project Stats

reNewbold contains 18 residential units and one commercial units. Six (6) 2 story homes, ten (10) 3 story homes and two (2) flats. Each unit has it’s own parking space and all homes have roof top decks surrounded by green roofs. The project is designed by Interface Studio Architects and is seeking both Energy Star and LEED Platinum certifications.

The 2 story units each contain a full basement, 2 bedrooms and one bath. The 3 story units contain a full basement, 3 bedrooms, 1 den and 2 full baths. The flats have open floorplans with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with ample windows on three sides of the units.

There are dozens of finish options that can be customized to those buying a home early on the Postgreen Homes website. Bamboo or cork floors kitchen cabinet and counter options on the ground floor. Take your pick of 3 different plumbing fixture packages along with a variety of Energy Star appliances.

Postgreen Homes is building the most energy efficient homes in Philly. They are the only builders using super insulated double stud walls and triple pane windows sourced from Canada. These along with air tight construction and high efficiency HVAC systems produce the most efficient homes on the market with the lowest monthly utility bills.

Water conservation is a key goal in every Postgreen Homes project through the use of low-flow fixtures, dual-flush toilets, water efficient appliances and rainwater catchment systems. reNEWBOLD also features a 100% permeable site with permeable pavers and green roofs.

The collaboration between Interface Studio Architects has resulted in multiple AIA design awards at the local, state and national levels. In 2010 they won the LEED for Homes Project of the Year award. They are bringing the same philosophies to reNEWBOLD while aiming for both Energy Star and LEED Platinum certifications.

While Postgreen Homes has been building it’s reputation in the northern neighborhoods of Kensington and Fishtown in Philadelphia, steady requests have come in to build similar homes in South Philly. Postgreen Homes patiently waited for the perfect partner in LPMG to come to them with a plot of land in the up and coming Newbold neighborhood. It’s borders are Washington Ave to the North, Passyunk Ave to the South, Broad St to the East and 18th St to the West. Postgreen Homes builds it’s first all steel clad homes in the Kensington South neighborhood. These homes boast incredible value in a rising neighborhood between Fishtown proper and Northern Liberties.
